Supply, installation, testing and commissioning and road reinstatement works for three district cooling networks including very deep valve chambers (15m) and draw pits in Jumeriah and Tecom A. This project was very challenging in nature as it comprised tapping into and extending existing district cooling networks in a Brownfield environment. Traffic management and the protection of existing services were key focus areas due to the extremely limited construction corridors provided in very congested areas. Micro tunnelling operations were also employed on this project to accommodate locations where it was physically impossible to install areas of the network using conventional methods of construction.
