With several years of experience in the industry, supporting the principle that our business relies on "successful projects", Overseas AST understands the importance of supporting our Clients and projects with carefully planned & engineered solutions from an early stage in the project.
AST employs experienced structural, marine and civil engineering resources and over the years has developed a wealth of experience throughout AST core business activities. These professionals are supported by state of the art design software such as STAAD PRO, REWARD, PLAXIS, REPUTE, WALLAP and others.
AST is able to deliver solutions from concept through to completion of the projects inclusive of 3D modeling and visualization, where software such as 3D StudioMax, V-Ray, Illustrator, REVIT, AutoCAD are used.
By analyzing the detail in the projects, it is our objective to ensure that the most suitable cost & time efficient methods are selected and implemented on the projects which in the end benefits all parties involved in the project.
AST minimizes risk & maximizes opportunity on projects by carrying out stage by stage sequence of work planning, together with detailed risk management practices on all major elements of it’s projects.

AST Engineering Services
Overseas AST has a large stock of machinery and equipment which enables it to undertake the most challenging jobs, both on land and offshore, at short notice.
The inventory includes:
Heavy plant: Crawler cranes, mobile cranes, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, excavators, vibro hammers and impact pile hammers, dozers and forklifts
Marine: Crane barges, cargo barges, push barges, tugs and launches
Civil: Vibro rollers,compactors, concrete mixers, breakers, convertors, compressors, generators, mobile light towers, welding machines, water pumps
Transportation: Pick-ups, buses, trailers, trucks, water tankers
Overseas AST´s dedicated fabrication workshop is located at the Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah.
Covering an area of 15,000m2, AST FAB is capable of handling any size of specialised engineering construction. A wharf alongside the yard enables large construction to be easily transported by barges anywhere in the region.
